KEEP IT LIVE - DO THE FIVE: For this assignment I put a lot of heart into it as I worked at a live music venue in Melbourne for many years. My design aims to encourage people to return to live music venues with a five step plan. The social change is adapting the community to the new COVID normal venue restrictions. This is an awareness campaign to motivate people on behalf of the venue, attend live music venues and to keep the culture alive.
Assignment Brief: As designers you have the opportunity to use your creativity for good. From reducing ocean waste and environmental degradation to human rights for refugees, everyone has something they believe in and stand for. What do you support or believe needs to change in the world?
For this assignment you are a graphic designer, working in a studio environment, managing a social change campaign for a NFP organisation. You will manage the project from research, initial concept development to marketing strategy, design, implementation and monitoring. You will report to and meet with your art director (teacher) as you would in a design/marketing agency and design digital advertising output to the platforms best suited to your campaign and target audience.
